For many pilgrims during the Middle Ages, the Atlantic Ocean marker the end of their journey along El Camino de Santiago. To many of these pilgrims, the ocean was a source of endless awe and mystery, and ultimately where the world ended-Finisterre. Today, many pilgrims choose to end their journey by the sea; a pilgrim is to collect a small shell as a symbol that they have made this spiritual journey. Pilgrims come to contemplate the beauty of the ocean, surrounded by ancient ruins.
Thank you so much Chibi! It was such a gorgeous place to visit. I love the landscapes of Galicia because they are so incredibly green and full of life. I can only imagine how gorgeous this place looks in spring and summer. I adore my new camera! For once, I do not have to sit in Photoshop playing around with levels and hues. I love being able to control shutter speed and aperture. I am saving up money for a macro lens, because I always wanted to get into macro photography.
I really love seeing new places from another perspective. thanks for sharing. So happy to hear about the your new camera, it does make shooting more exciting. & good luck saving for the macro lens, hope it comes your way soon, they can be super fun to use!
